We provide you with another issue of Build Info, the journal of entrepreneurs in civil engineering; we have focused on apparently different, but closely associated problems. In the part dealing with economy we would like to draw your attention to the article by Mr Zd. Kunc, director of engineering activities in the company ÚRS Praha a.s.; the article deals in detail with comparison and development in civil engineering in the Czech Republic in 2008 and 2009. The necessity of a concept solution in civil engineering is dealt with and examples from abroad are described in the article by Mr Sobola, director of the TZÚS Praha s.p. We recommend you the article written by Professor Jarský, who describes the expert system for a construction preparation and realization. You will be persuaded by a member of the Veteran Car Club Praha, Mrs Brutarová’s memories of Eliška Junková that automobiles and races are not only “men’s” business. In the article by Mr Jeřábek you will get illustrative information about the management of vehicle operation for working chain optimization. We inform you in an interview with Mr Janíček, the financial management executive director in the ČSOB Leasing, about a novelty in leasing – an accelerated depreciation.
